Yes, but the Lead Auditor credential has its own certification requirements. Passing the Lead Auditor exam alone does not automatically grant the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor credential.
For the ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor credential, PECB currently requires:
- Five years of professional experience
- Two years of experience in AI
- 300 hours of audit activities
- Successful completion of the PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor exam or an accepted equivalent
- Signing the PECB Code of Ethics
PECB also has a formal process for upgrading credentials when the applicable requirements are fulfilled.
